Michael Glover aka “Mike Gz” is a Christian Hip Hop artist born and raised in Atlanta Georgia.  It all started at the age of 12, when Mike Gz put pen to paper and began to write his story through music. That led to teen ministry under Youth Pastor Jeffrey Wallace where he pursued his gift.

While attending Peace Baptist Church under Senior Pastor Tyrone Barnette, Mike was introduced to "Gospel Rap" by one of the hottest up and coming producers of the art, Triple D. Realizing that this was something that God put him on this earth to do, his passion intensified greatly!

As Mike says, "My biggest goal in this business is not to go Platinum or win all of the awards, but to create music that is just as hot as T-Pain or Young Jeezy record, however strictly inspirational! There are so many kids that can't get into the "Church Choir" sound, so I don't see why I can't give them the sound they want with the message that they need!"

​

After receiving an overwhelmingly positive response from fans in the music industry, he continued to act upon the calling that The Lord put upon his life and he kept pushing forward to reach a world with the Gospel through his talent! Doors have opened for him to perform all over the country, and even opportunities to perform at the Holy Hip-Hop Awards in 2008 and 2010! God even gave him the opportunity to open as opening act for Canton Jones, Javen, Darwin Hobbs and many other notable artists in the business!

He has traveled all over the country and is loved by all age groups. As well he is in regular rotation on 91.5 FM Victory CityTakers hosted by Scott and Tami Free every Saturday night from 9 pm – midnight with DJ Radikal on the ones and twos. 

 

2018 has been full of God’s blessings, Mike participated in one of the venues for the Stellar Awards, performed at SXSW and spent 6 weeks with The eXtreme tour and continues ministering city to city.

He wants to share with the world how awesome Christian Hip Hop is and what a positive experience it brings to the listeners.
